How A Sunset Behaves
Dancing wildly on the horizon
Pale hazel green eyes glue to a pink Sunset
Her lips match the serenity
With widening eyelids,
And tears of salt water spilling
Over the cliff edges of her deep eye sockets
She can’t help this flood of emotions
Transgressing into a complete commotion
Like a volcano over-erupting
Sending steaming hot lava
Down the lid of a mountain
She wanders away from her bedroom
But only in the home in her head
Will anyone still Love her
When they find out how often
She doesn’t leave the house?
She watches the Sunset
Playing on the walls of her brain matter
Pondering this same question
