How Could I Ever

By Reverie

How could I ever
Claim your heart for mine
When I can barely even
Look into your eyes?

Your face, it outstands me
Your hands are what my hands need
You radiate with beauty
My only hope is that you choose me.

How could I ever
Be the girl you choose
When you’re right by me
I can barely even move?

All of you entirely
You silence, amaze, and awe me.
Your heart, your soul, your mind
Are entirely of a different kind

How could I ever
Be the one to warm your heart
When I could never compare
To what you do, say, and are?

Just the way you are
Can be described as perfection
I wouldn’t change a single thing
You’ve already got my attention

How could I ever
Think I’m unworthy of you
When all that you’ve done and said
Show your love is surely true?

You are the most amazing
Person I’ve seen; you’ve got me praying
That you are the one
And the battle’s already done.

Yours Truly,
Reverie
