How Do I Adjust
How Do I Adjust
First and last, present and past
Why do I feel like I’m in a cast?
Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide
my life goes up and down like a roller coaster ride
Why does it start, when does it end?
Where does it go, why do I spend?
Life was so simple when there were no choices
Now it is so hectic because of all the voices
Living with anger and despair, it is not fun nor is it fair
Why am I here, what role do I play, endearing this day after day?
I will get through this, I know I must
In the meantime how do I adjust?
First and last, present and past
Why do I feel like I’m in a cast?
Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide
my life goes up and down like a roller coaster ride
Why does it start, when does it end?
Where does it go, why do I spend?
Life was so simple when there were no choices
Now it is so hectic because of all the voices
Living with anger and despair, it is not fun nor is it fair
Why am I here, what role do I play, endearing this day after day?
I will get through this, I know I must
In the meantime how do I adjust?
