How He Loves

Are vast and do out measure sand and sea.
He calls me His and says I’ve been set free;
Oh how He loves me so.
Compassion sweeps away all of my tears,
His mellow presence follows all my years.
Side by side His Spirit to me coheres,
Oh how He loves me so.
I can’t imagine where I’d be today,
If not for Your true love known as agape.
Now all my sins are gone from yesterday,
Oh how You love me so!
I can’t contain this overwhelming joy,
I can’t stay still-- I have to make a noise!
Rise up you men, you women, girls and boys;
Our God does love us so!
