How is Your Walk?

"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works"
2 Timothy 3:16-17

The scriptures in the Old and New Testament speak more volume
Than a famous secular author writing a book on the patio
What purpose does it serve in our lives?
Amusement? Fun? No! Just more worldly pleasures we don't need

Many claim to walk by faith
Yet, it's as plain as the light of day
That what they say does not support their case
Rather, they've forgotten that price Jesus paid!

What will it take for believers to see the wickedness in this world?
Lost souls walking around as if what they see and know is "normal"
You walk pass them and know deep down in your heart....
That person is hurting, spiritually. Fear held you back. You kept walking!

Day by day, many fail to understand
This evil and vile world around us
Have we forgotten how it all began?
How the world became so wicked and dangerous?

Not many so-called believers will ask their brothers and sisters
How has your walk been with the Lord?
No amount of excuses will be enough to cover one's hesitation
Remember, Jesus spews out the lukewarm

Jesus did not call us to be cowardice and scared
He was loving, yet bold towards all men
Enough hesitation! We all must be prepared
For the world draws closer to times end

Don't let another lost soul walk by without them knowing about Jesus
His blood. His precious blood. Shed on that rugged cross
That should've been our blood being shed instead
Jesus was bold enough to take our punishment unto himself

How dare one say they're a believer in Jesus
Yet, watch souls walk themselves to the lake of fire
Hurting. Screaming. Begging for a rebound
Once more, how is your walk with the Lord?

"And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned."
Mark 16:15-16
