How long can love wait?

I was waiting for you in the fields that day.
I was waiting since the month may.
The clouds came over to me,
And announced that you are now free,
as you have now paid the birth fee.
I longed for you, as the rain came and consoled me.
That day I knew,
serving the nation is the most important for you.
I didn't stop you earlier, from going to the war.
With the trust that you would come back sooner or later.
The Sun faded away as the moon gave its way.
I am still waiting, for you to come.
You never wanted to be a hero but you will become one.
It's now October, please come closer.
The leaves are now falling down on the ground.
Autumn has come
and all the leaves which were waiting for you along with me,
Is now waiting for the snow,
for the winter to approach.
They may shed off, but I will never.
As the love for you is still strong enough.
I will wait. I will wait until you come to me.
No matter how long the wait will be.
