How to pertain to a stable mental capacity

Pull back the covers on his bed
Reveal the monsters in his head
They seem so real
Wishing everyone could feel
Everything that they’ve told him
He wants to rip apart his limbs
It takes everything inside of him
To not jump off a bridge
His life’s a mess
He hopes they find him in a ditch
He wants to just sit back and watch
As everything he’s ever had
Is snatched away
It’s so sad
His life’s falling apart
As his world whisks away
He understands pain
He shouldn’t need to
But since he met you
That’s all he gains
You lead him on
Then make him hurt
Apologize and then you’re gone
A never ending cycle
It’s just what he calls his home
