How To Woe

A girl looks in the mirror
She sends out rays like deep drops of the Sun
This girl laments to God too many days, on and on
After too long, her reflection comes out
With a whole paragraph to this girl in the mirror:
“Those shadowy dark things pertain a Life too bitter
Too lonely to bear, not far enough to be a wanderer
Forget the dirty, judgmental implications
Please pick up those lovely dancing shoes
Spring out into all those types of weather changes
The ones with Love, sweet ecstasy, and each moment to moment
The World needs more of that wildness
Honesty is a boat gone too far ahead
Reaching to find the un-tangible seam
Of an inevitably invisible machine
The outside holds no answers
When everything lies inside”
Her girlhood dies with the unarguable truth
Because she feels the center of God within her
A girl looks in the mirror lamenting her youth
To find a piece of God handing her womanhood
