HUMMINGBIRD FROM HEAVEN


I’ve stretched my arm
to smooth down my hair,
disheveled by the wind …
A hummingbird
flew over from Heaven
and perched down…
on my hand…
I looked at it –
combining all the colours
of the whole unearthly spectrum.
A hummingbird
bestowed the time –
in my hands…
For an instant I’ve embraced the vastness of the immeasurable…
And it flapped.
The time elapsed through my fingers….
