Hurry Home (The real version hopefully)

They say love conquers all fear,
That peace comes with a price,
That freedom isn't free,
I know this applies to me.

You've been over there for months,
Just going through hell,
Baby I hope you're doing well,
Waiting by the phone,
Just to hear I love you,
Been waiting for awhile,
For you to make me smile,
When you're gone,
I will worry,
Hurry home and please hurry.

You go on patrol,
Searching for the enemy,
He doesn't know you fight for your brother,
He doesn't know you fight for our love,
May the dove bring peace,
May the fighting of your fury release,
And let that plane bring you home.

Until then I'll pray,
I'll pray for love, peace and freedom,
Get back to base,
And may God shelter you with his grace,
Only heaven can get get me through this,
Sometimes I don't know how to do this,
I'll wait for you forever,
Let you go...I'd never...

Can't wait for you to be here,
To let go of all that fear,

I dream of you beside me,
Lord just hear my plea,
May you come back to the states,
The time to start anew waits.
