Hurtful Love

I'll never forget that day.
The day when,
time ceased to stop,
my heart split in two.
The news killed me,
like colliding planets.
Turning my world,
to dust and ashes.
No color,
black and white.
A cold hard rock
of a tombstone,
is my heart.
I need you,
I need your paper skin hands.
The hands that held me and
carried me through life.
Those fast smacking hands,
that wiped quickly away,
painful tears.
You buried my heart with you.
This love hurts so badly.
Watch me,
wait for me.
Guide me through the darkness,
so I'm not afraid.
Haunt me
