I Am a Liar

When he was in your womb, he kicked you several times;
Your partner asked, what happened, did it hurt?
You smiled and lied, I am fine!
When you gave birth to him and cried, people asked you,
did it hurt? You smiled, wiped your tears, and lied,
I am very, very happy!
When he bit your breast, your partner asked,
what happened, did it hurt? You smiled and lied, I am fine!
When you washed his hair and body, he pulled your hair badly
and hit your face, people asked, did it hurt?
You managed and lied, I am okay, he is a kid, nah!
When he did wrong and was scared to be punished,
your partner asked, did he do something wrong?
You fumbled but lied, no!
When he found a girl, your partner asked,
do you know that girl? You faltered and lied, amm. yeah I know her!
When that girl abused you, he asked,
Mamma is she nice to you? You smiled and lied, yes she is!
When you were kicked out of your home with your partner,
your partner asked, for this you always lied for him, my love?
You burst and said, no my dear, I wanted to help him to be like you!
I am a mother, can't see my son getting hurt, that's why I am a liar!
