I Am A Wish

I am a wish.
Not much of a thing.
But when you're a wish,
You hear the birds sing.

I blow through the wind.
And fly through the sky.
People admire me and say,
"Wow that's high."

I see people come.
I see people go.
But when you're a wish,
You go with the flow.

My brothers and sisters,
We all live in one stem.
But when we get older,
I must leave them

I love being a wish.
It's so much fun.
But when I grow,
My job is all done.
