I Am an Abolitionist

I am an abolitionist
I am a white man
He is a slave
He is a black man

Separation between black and white
So confused on why that's right
No fortitude to intervene between the brutality
Do the black men even know why

Black or white
Either way it's not right
To abolish their rights for freedom because
He is a black man

To my so called friends
Black is bad and
White is right
He is more than a black man
