I Am Free

Standing in line I wait,
Wait to sign my name on the check in sheet,
I'm in so much pain.

So many whites in front on me,
Walking by me
Breaking in line
I do nothing,I'm as still as the floor around me,

The pain is unbearable
Tears run down like rivers flow
The carpet, hands out to catch,...Splash!

White man breaks in front of me
White woman follows
The line gets longer and longer,
There is no help for my pain

I drop to my knees
And close my eyes
And start to prey,Prey for help of this world.

A women comes by dressed in all white
Picks me up,
Carries me to a room,
A room that is all white, I feel free!
