I Am From

I am from the warm Autumn air,
From the sound of juicy crisp apples being bitten into,
From jumping into the bold rich colors of leaves,

I am from sliding down the steep stairs at rapid speeds,
From hiding in nooks and crannies when playing silly games,
From jumping on the old worn out trampoline,

I am from saying my sad, sorrowful goodbyes,
From the old rickety trampoline, from all of my best hiding places,
From slididng down the steep rapid stairs one last time,

I am from a new start,
From wondering into what seemed like a dangerous adventurous future,
From realising that I had to be willing to change,

I am from meeting my new amazing friends,
From experincing great new times,
From always laughing,

I am from writing this poem,
From being inspired by all my wonderful teachers,
From wanting to know what my future will be.
