I Am She

First impressions, we can't ever forget them
Depicted through the unexpected force of nature
You see my crown?
It's not invisible
And the attitude that bears its wear
is not indivisible,
One nation under this groove
Proves
Legacy of royalty
Maybe even a Goddess-like deity,
Beauty timeless
In spirit of course, not the obvious.
A louver of love
Perfect fit to your armoured glove.
Breaking down your barriers
In your arms, you carried me.
I Am She.

Who you prayed for
Was no longer preyed upon
And distant passions were there
Between us all along,
Never did I imagine
Or even remotely
Fathom
I would be the epitome of your
Needs,
Blessed I am to be
That woman for you,
I Am She.

This Poems Story

I wrote this recently to the guy I was dating. We're no longer courting, but I have received great fan base response from this poem, thought it's perfect for my first submission.
