I Am You

Every day I see you
Walking the school halls
Making us believe you're scary and tall
Not care if others look at you and think wrong

I can see in your eyes the suffering and pain
Too much agony
No use categorizing
So much to hold in that it hurts my heart
To see you abused and be torn apart

You keep your head up and never look in our eyes
Just to keep strong and not care if others treat you wrong
Whisper that you are this and whisper that you're that
Labeling you as useless treating you like a dirty mat

I want to yell and scream they don't know you
But what's the use
Because in the end I am the one that walks the halls
In the end I am you
