I Could Be Your Pussycat

I could be your pussycat and curl up in your bed.
If you let me bite you, I'll devour you instead.
"Twice shy," she said.

If you feel you're on cloud nine, let me take you as mine.
Then bowl you over the wet sea, if you let me.
Purring 'till the dawn breaks and crashing to the shore,
Saturated with the desire for more.

Let's work up an appetite and stroll across the land.
Billowing smoke was at hand,
Passion flared!
I could tame your wild embers, it might take me 'till December.
Purring once more, content as a lamb.

Unstable and dizzy, combing through the sand,
Parched, heart-beating, longing and disheveled.
"Shh...come on over here, take my hand."

See that mountain way up high? Together we'll traverse the sky.
Flying with the wind, trapeze and soar,
Growing cold with the night once more.
"Wrap me close and take me home."

I could be your pussycat and curl up in your bed.
If you let me bite you, you'll devour me instead.
