I Could End It All Right Here

They never ask.
Why would they?
Just knowing would ruin anyone's day.

I walk slowly, scuffing my heal.
Once I get home I make a deal.
I wont eat, but if I get tempted I shall cut it away.

So at night when I hear the voices calling.
My hopes falling.
I grab my blades, and select the biggest size.

I slide it across my wrist.
Then my thighs.
As I smile an close my eyes.

Why do I try?
No one would hear my cries.
I could end it all right now.

With one slice of my skin.
All the pain within.
Would bleed out with all my sin.

I could drift away.
Not to see another day.
The ultimate price finally paid.
