I Do

By Alice

He and She sail To the other side of the sea.
The small waves held the boat, sway like a craddle.

He and She cuddle like two little fawns.
Now, the waves become greater, hit the bow of the boat.
The wind stops singing, tosses the boat like a ball.

He and She wakes up terrified,
Held each other tight;
The boat begins to leak.
Someone comes and offers She
To hop in and avoid the storm.
However, She refuses to leave the boat.

Hand in hand, they survived the storm.
Hungry, they grab something to eat.
He likes it hot, She likes it cold-
He smiles, and chooses to eat cold.
Now, the shore is near...

That’s how He and She
Keeps the commitment.
