I Do Not Miss You

I do not miss
your icy glare,
the way you showed
you did not care.
I do not miss
the guilt you laid
or the way you
made me afraid.
I do not miss
your fist on me;
I'd lay in bed
with legs bloody.
I do not miss
your hateful words,
self-esteem shot
like flying birds.
I do not miss
the tears that fell
or how my youth
was spent in hell.
I do not miss
what we went through.
Now, I must say
I don't miss you.
