I Don’t Love Him Back

I went on a date tonight, with a boy
He kissed me
To a movie that I didn't like
And called me beautiful
To the soundtrack of my beating eyelashes
He said, I love you
And I thought of my best friend one hundred miles away
It's 5 a.m., and he cannot sleep without me
The newest boy shoves a greased tounge towards me
My oldest boy still cannot sleep without me
At 6 a.m., I feel him tuck in his jagged parts and rest
Our edges used to collide together and fit perfectly
We used to fit--thorns inside of old stab wounds
But now, we're just weathered stones
I went on a date tonight
I'm his girlfriend now
And my heart broke
At the thought
