I Don’t Love You Anymore

She stood there in pain
As she looked down at the floor
And whispered to me softly
"I don't love you anymore"
A tear slid down my face
She'd felt that way too long
I looked her in the eye
And told her she was wrong
She said "I don't like your looks
Your jokes, or who you are
I've seen all your mistakes
You always go too far"
She went on like this for hours
So I took in all she said
And found that when she spoke
My heart filled up with dread
I began to hate her voice
So in an attempt to see things clearer
I exited the bathroom
For I'd been staring in the mirror
