I Fear the Light
Fear of my nights in these dark halls,
Rarely do I wander as remnants do call,
For fierce screams echo in the shade's shawl,
But grip is lost unto the soulless dark.
Should I fall into the light of day
Were I to see the phantoms I do fear
Fearsome as they may or may not be
I fear the light
For in the dark I may hide
And ‘tis the dark that conceals.
