I Forgive You

How do you forgive someone so cold and hurtful?
Someone so shady and manipulative?
Someone who lies, cheats and steals?

You have drenched lives with insane worry and sadness.
You have turned others away and broken spirits.
You have no idea what you have done.

Your death is certain and preparations have been made.
Your time hurting people in this way is coming to an end.
Your forgivness may not be but a memory of a life lost.

To look you in the eye and feel forgiveness.
To speak to you with kidness in my voice.
To know that you are good and deserving.

I know your heart and feel your soul.
I know how heavy the weight is you carry.
I see you in the mirror and I forgive you.
