I Hate You

I hate you for your ignorance, and everything it brings.
I hate you for your private thoughts, for when you speak it stings.
I hate you when you talk to me, I hate you when you don't.
I hate it when I want to say, the things I know I won't.
I hate you when you use that tone, and think that you sound wise.
I hate you every minute that, you wear your crude disguise.
I hate it that you think you are, the only one who's seen.
I hate it that you think you know, what words you're using mean.
I hate you for the way you think, your life is novel prose.
I hate you when you try to write. Why try? God only knows.
I hate that what you want to be, is never what you are.
I hate that where you want to go, is never very far.
I hate you for your ignorance; I hate who you could be,
and all these things I hate in you, are things I hate in me.
