I heard the sound of the coyotes howling to the sky of stairs above
And the plants dancing in the shadows,
The night before the day my life began.
I heard the fine breeze whistle through the sky clear of clouds,
and the sound of aliens talking way up high on Mars.
I heard misery, magic and fears, and waves crashing up on the shore,
Though there was no shore to crash on, nor any waves to crash.
And the sound of a heartbeat singing, shattered all of my tears.
