I Love You, Dad

By Lan Le

When I was ten, I was hit by a car.
I was hurt a little.
But he hurt more than me.
First time I saw him cry.

When mom left me, I cried.
He hugged me, said:"Sorry I couldn't save her."
Second time I saw him cry.

When he was sick, I cried.
He kissed my forehead, said:
"Sorry for making you cry."
Third time I saw him cry.

I love my Dad.
He is my hero.
Not like Captain America saves the world.
Not like Spider Man fights with monsters.
He is a hero in his own way.
By loving his daughter with all of his heart.
By protect his daughter unconditionally.
I love my Dad.
I can say it a billion of time.
I will wait,
Till I come to heaven, I will beg with God,
To become his daughter one more time.
I love you.
