I love you mom

Mother is someone who brings you to life
To hug you and love you, even through strife
To have and to hold you
Til everything feels right
And never forget how to love you with might
And just know she'll never let you out of her sight
She'll never give up on you without a fight
You'll get bruised in this world
That's without a doubt
But your mother will teach you
What it's all about
Presents and toys will never compare
To the undying love she spreads everywhere
All around the room when you're out on your own
You'll find pieces of her that remind you of home
Joy, love, and laughter
Are the foundation of life
It's the kind of sweet tension
You can cut with a knife
Brought up in the light of the Lord
Thanks to you, my life is worth so much more
May you never think for a moment
That your words fall on deaf ears
Because thanks to you
I cry only happy tears
Magical moments are what I hold dear
And I'll never forget them year after year
Please take these words
And learn them by heart
Cause if you think we love you now
This is only the start
Now I must bid you adieu
Til the morning is new
Just know that I love you
And I know you love me too
