I Met This Girl Named Ana

I met this girl named Ana.
She introduced me to sharp angles, bones, and emptiness.
I met this girl named Ana.
She filled my head with silly words.
She whispered to me late at night saying,
"Push, push until your thighs don't touch."
and "Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels."
I met this girl named Ana.
She put butterflies in my tummy,
caterpillars on my ribs,
and lead in my legs.
I met this girl named Ana.
She wasn't so nice,
She promised dreams of a pink, clean life.
I met this girl named Ana.
She was wrong.
I met this girl named Ana
That girl Ana is now dead.
