I Miss

By

I miss seeing the smiles of strangers
as I walk the streets and shopping malls.

I miss being able to visit my sick,
lonely, and elderly friends in their homes.

I miss knowing the peace and joy
that my friends had being able to visit their
sick, aging, and maybe dying parent,
before they took their last breath.

I miss seeing people smile back
at the smile
I was free to give to them.

Did I tell you I miss the smiles?

I habitually rebel against some of the
quarantine rules
because I trust in GOD.
HE did not tell me to exclude a friend in need.
"Mi casa...Su casa" is the CHRIST-Like way to be.

I just didn't think they would quarantine my smile.
