I Miss You

The last three years have been so hard
Close family members died
Dad, my brother, and my mom
Sadly said goodbye.

With age comes forms of sickness
Weak bodies cannot fight
As family watches changes
And prays to God each night.

You think they'll be here forever
Just seems that way when young
And then one day it hits you
Your beloved ones are gone.

I feel much like an orphan
My parents are both gone
And so is my big brother
A strong man I leaned on.

One day we'll meet in Heaven
And rekindle our love again
Dying is so final
Cherish memories until then.
