I Miss You

No more lies, no more tears.

A few cigarettes and a few more beers.
I tried so hard I'm done falling, my heart's on guard.
Dreams come true, but they fade quick.
close your eyes, dream of it.
It was true, now I'm quiet. I need no other, now I'm dying.
Forever changed with one text, I wish I could press reset.
Start over the right way.
Remake my day.
All I need is a "good morning beautiful," is that so much to ask?
I'm trying to say, "I need you back!"
Every tear is another beer, a memory that was never made.
Living with the doubt, it may not be true.
But the fact is, I really miss you.
