I miss you mommy miles away!

Was everything so usual as it seemed to be?
Wasn’t I so ungrateful as like every human being

Mommy I must tell you all what you did was not that ordinary,
Here I have to cook, clean and myself make curry

Many of the daily stuff I never bothered of ,
Mommy I have to solemnly here take care of!

Life is not a bed of roses you screamed almost everyday,
I laughed and exclaimed I will have meadows in my way!

You were right, sun doesn’t shines always bright,
But I believed life would never be so tight

You never realise till you are miles away,
Mommy is a blessing almost every way!

I wish I could run , come and hug you soon,
But with the pandemic don’t know when comes this noon
