I often wish...
That the words didn't hurt
That the pain wouldn't last
That somehow I was fine

But yet...
These are mostly lies
We hide behind our masks
Showing little fear
But one word could
break us down in tears

What I cannot have

That you were gone

But yet...
I cannot be who I am
I cannot see clearly
This pain often drowns me
