I Saw People Today
I saw people through the window today,
As my soul forcefully faded away.
I saw people walking hand in hand today,
As my heart fiercely broke in so many different ways.
I saw people today. Smiling through their joyous eyes.
As the world around me crashes and burned despite my fright.
I saw people today. Laughing and enjoying their time.
With tears strolling down my face as hell rips through my life.
I saw people today, more than I ever wished I could.
I saw people today... I saw more people than my heart could endure.
