I See You, Seeing Me

My silence eats away at your phantom
Not only do you wonder but you ponder in a burrowing muddy hole of pain
Why do you always hide away?
Why must you see only through your ruby eyes?
That poor soul sitting in the corner of that warm lit room in your mind
Have you ever asked yourself if you are okay?
I feel my love my comfort my warmth, doesn't do enough as you can do yourself
You're the reflective portrait of passion disguised as a broken clock
When time finally slows down
You combine content and confusion
I know happiness only comes once a year
Only ignorance allows you to think as such
Your smile never left, it's just too wide
The windowshield to your eyes say otherwise
