I Watch And I Wait

As I watch and I wait

We all try to be happy

In a life of many roads

No judgment to be made until life becomes death

Protect our innocent

Keep them from the storm

Away from the hands of evil men and women

As I watch and I wait

Keep them from pain

Their pain one day may be gifted to you

If you can hear no evil

If you can see no evil

Evil is behind closed doors

Strive for the bliss of the unknown

Known for some

As I watch and I wait

The sacrifice of life is in our conscience

Life is eternal

Life no longer carries a shadow of darkness

Know the origin of what is being written and read

As I watch and I wait

I see the goodness that has surrounded me

I know and I pray

One day before the day

You will see what I see

I watch and I wait
