I Will Arise

Before my feet hit the floor, I’m already late.
My soul is restless and has had as much as it can take.
Sleep has disappeared from my weary eyes.
I am up now and I will arise!
This raging battle continues to be long.
I will press on and sing my song.
My hands are weary and I need some rest.
I will arise and do my best!
On this long and winding road,
I will pick up my cross and carry the load.
My eyes are teary and somewhat dim.
I must seek the Lord and turn to him.
I will arise and let the Savior fill my empty cup.
My soul is in a world that is corrupt.
Is there beauty here anymore?
I will arise and walk through that open door!
Where can I find peace in this valley?
I will arise and come out of this alley!
Wars are already waiting for my destiny.
I know who I am and my true identity.
I will arise, because I am a queen!
Upon his holy name, I will forever lean.
