I Will Be Someone

I got some people on my side,
Who tell me to do the right,
But Will i finally be free,
From all the stereotypes,
That people say about people,
With the same skin color as mine,
I think it's gonna be too impossible,
But i got to get through the obstacles,
To be someone in life,
Cause of all of the work,
I know that it will pay off in the end,
Cause in the end,
Ima spend, spend, spend.

I gotta acknowledge,
That I gotta do my best in college
To get the money, and sip on this bubbly.

Boy wouldn't that be funny,
Is what the funny people say who think I'm funny,
That when I will never bloom,
That my whole life will be a gloom
But what they don't know is that i will bloom
In my lifetime,
I won't have a doom.
I won't be on the street,
For the people who think I will,
Well, you got me beat.
