I will sing in praise

While piercing, eyes watched worthy wounds,
Depth of the impressions imprints my soul,
Afraid I live, exhausted in the abyss,
The wilful abandonment brings its toll.

With you, new found slice of solace,
With the crutch of devotion, I peeked out of the hole,
Abyss of solitude opening to lashes,
With your love, my fraction comes to be whole.

Salvaged from the inevitable consequences,
Liberated, I feel, from my deceptive past,
Drawn to the new direction of hope,
My tired desire is to make it last.

A strict march to a calmer stroll,
Eternally grateful I am for the spell you cast,
My engrained fear now turning obscure,
With you, it’s deathly funeral massed.
