I Wish

Late at night
Early in the morning
In the middle of class
I wish that everyone would disappear

I wish that everyone would disappear
So that I could blast my music at full volume
Not give a damn if someone else hates my music taste
If someone is trying to concentrate

I wish I could jump around the room
Cartwheel across the hallway
Spin in circles like helicopter blades

I wish I could dance around barefoot
Dance so hard that I get calluses
And take off a layer of skin on my heels and toes
The pressure too much for them to handle

I wish I could have eternal stamina
So that i could dance forever and not grow tired
Never stop dancing

All I want
Is to never stop dancing
