I Wish Upon My Candle

I wish upon my candle,
The one upon my cake,
The one that counts the cycles,
Upon a wish I make,

I wish for but the feeling,
The memories there within,
To hold the things most earning,
From heart to mind to skin,

My wish is one of family,
With blood spirals either souls akin,
And to feel that connected key,
Through where the holes do spin,

My wish is one of friend,
Who with all I trust,
Who, till the end, I defend,
That will to be encompassed,

My wish is that of remembrance,
For if I loose my fragile mind,
If every thought lay spent,
Then every sensuality,
Every moment to find,
I lay with the viewer, my family, my friends,

So candle upon my cake,
A wish of mine to make,
In your flame of amber,
Be until death this choice will stay.
