I wish you could
If you could see what others see, such beauty
Unparalleled by any object in land or sea.
Even the boundless mysteries of space,
Contain nothing, When compared to your face.
If you could see what others see, such bravery.
You inspire others to break free from slavery.
The hardest criminal would become a child,
When your anger is just mild.
If you could see what others see, such personality.
Such style, as we giggle the night into eternity.
Your depths run longer than the River Nile,
As you hide all the pain behind a smile.
If you could see what others see, such time it could save me.
The list is endless, I confess...and if I went on I’d just become a mess.
