I’d Rather Be

I'd rather be a glowing sun,
who could see the world in halves,
than be a cloud floating around,
and causing trouble to the world.

Let them be as clouds,
carrying rain and washing away,
causing accidents and being blamed.

To break through the clouds,
to feel exposed to the world,
and controlling solar power,
also making the plants grow.

In order to keep the cycle going,
there must be something warm,
that will always be there,
even after a storm,
without me, a blazing sun,
the world cannot go on.

I'd rather be seen
and be praised by everybody,
than to be a rainy cloud
who always sticks around.
