Identity

You are me and I am you.
Forever we will be one.

I'll keep you here for you won't see,
the glory of me being you.
Will they notice?
Probably not?
Not even the slight difference in who we are.

Good and bad.
Evil and kind.
Truthful and liar.
Water or fire.

We look in the mirror.
My tainted self, overpowering your submissive form.
Knowing what will be done.

A smile so sly,
I run away.
You scream and scream, behind the glass.
Your identity taken.

Out the door into your world.
I am Evangeline.
