If I Can Choose
When my time comes, and I leave this worldI wonder what God, has planned for this oh girl
If I had a choice, an angel is what I'd be
So I could watch over, all my friends and family
My life was confusing and hard at times
Some of the choices I made, wasn't worth a dime
God gave us life and the choice, how we live
If we choose the right ones, our sins he will forgive
I truly believe that, they are guarding angels
Because life has so many, right and wrong angles
And ending up here, instead of burning in Hell
I know my guarding angel, did her job really well
So if I have a choice, an angel is what I'll be
I'll watch over you just like, my angel watched over me
I'll walk along beside you, on the path that leads to Heaven
God will then open his golden gates, if all is forgiven
When the gates open, and you pass through
My choice to be an angel, was the right choice to choose
Loving and caring, and doing the right things
Will always earn, your guarding angel their wings
