If I Have Love

If I had an ocean,
I would swim in its depths
And dance with the Mermish of sea myths
On a whim of my wild notions.
If I had a stallion,
I would fly with him, bareback,
Through green woods and clouds of black,
And laugh with gleaming eye to the hearts of the valiant.
If I had a tempest,
I would ride the thunderbolts of Zeus' wrath
And the chariot of Apollo's fiery aftermath
To storm sky's boundaries without rest.
If I had a star,
I would store it in my heart
To shine through my eyes as a living work of art-
A light that the blind see from afar.
If I have love
I have all this and more.
Love is a door.
Inside are riches evermore.
