If I Knew Your Name

Well if I knew your name I'd say hello
How are you would you like to go
Out with me for a night on the town
You would say Yes I'm sure of this
With a sweet soft smile full of tenderness
We would go out dinner and then a show
And finish the evening up on our toes
Dancing and romanicing throughout the night
Then say good-bye at dawns early light
I would spend the day just thinking of you
And hoping that you're thinking of me too
I would wait so patiently to see you again
All the wile praying there are no other men
To come between us and the spell
Of a wounderful evening I would remember so well
Yes If I knew you're name I know what I'd say
Cause I practice these words each and every day
I would say hello my nams is Guss
I'v seen you here before waiting for the bus
Can I take you out for a night on the town
We'll have some fun and I'll show you around
To some of the places I go to get away
To take off the edg of a long working day
We'll go to dinner and maybe a show
Then finish the eveing up on our toes
Dancing and romancing throughout the night
And say good-bye at dawns early light
Oh if I knew you're name
I'd say hello
